Dr. Darrel Sherman
A Longview native continuing a family tradition of orthodontic care.
Dr. Darrel Sherman grew up in Longview and returned home after completing his orthodontic residency in Houston. In 2000, he joined his father, Dr. Carroll Sherman, who had practiced in Longview since 1980 at the office Dr. Duren opened in 1968.
That father-and-son chapter is where generations of Sherman & Briscoe smiles begins, in a Longview practice that has passed from one orthodontist to the next since 1968.
Dr. Sherman’s approach centers on helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout treatment. He is fluent in Spanish and is active in local outreach, service events, and mentoring.
He and his wife, Rachel, have three sons: Ben, Will, and Sam. Outside the office, he enjoys golfing with his boys and walking his dogs, Daisy and Sadie.
Dr. Sherman speaks English and Spanish.
